We’re thrilled to be working with a leader in the independent music sector to find a Commercial Manager who will be integral to driving the success of physical music sales. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about music and skilled in commercial strategy to work closely with some of the most celebrated independent labels.


Key Duties:

  • Serve as the main contact for UK head office accounts, presenting campaigns for multiple independent music labels.

  • Partner with the Senior team to develop strong retailer relationships, ensuring smooth execution of campaigns that maximize sales impact.

  • Work collaboratively with teams to manage account administration, meet campaign deadlines, and maintain high standards in client service.

  • Propose strategic initiatives for new releases, advising clients to enhance creative and commercial opportunities.

  • Lead negotiations to secure beneficial deals for labels, ensuring client satisfaction while promoting label visibility and sales.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Proven experience in physical or digital music sales, with an in-depth understanding of the retail and independent music landscape.

  • Exceptional communication skills with a collaborative spirit; you can build and nurture relationships with both internal teams and external partners.

  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • An innovative thinker who enjoys contributing fresh ideas and solutions, driven to see clients succeed.
