A world leading media giant have a newly created role for an Associate Director of Tax to join their team. Created due to expansion this role will support senior management and lead the tax team. Supporting across corporation tax, personal tax and advisory this role is well suited to an ambitious tax professional.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead advisory work for personal and corporate tax

• Build trusted relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving

• Oversee the tax team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training.

• Support business development strategies, including preparing proposals for senior management

• Leading on projects inclusive of CGT, stamp duty, trusts

• Work with international tax teams on advisory

The successful candidate:

• ACA / AAT / CTA qualified

• Experience of working in a fast paced accounting practice

• Strong client handling and managerial skill

• A real team player with the ability to lead and develop the tax team

• Experience with international tax would also be advantageous but not essential
