We are delighted to be recruiting a new opportunity for an Assistant Manager (Accounting) with a leading accounting firm in the media and entertainment industry. Offering hybrid working and career progression this role is not to be missed!

This role directly reports into the Senior Manager and is key in leading the team. Ideally suited to a newly qualified accountant with minim 3 years experience in accounting, this role offers ample career progression and excellent benefits.

Main responsibilities:

• Working alongside the manager to manage a prestigious portfolio of clients

• Ensuring all monthly, quarterly and year end deliverables are met

• VAT returns, Management accounts & Statutory accounts

• Liaising with and presenting financial information directly to clients

• Lead and develop a team, including managing performance, setting goals and ongoing training

• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects

The Ideal candidate:

• Newly qualified accountant

• Good knowledge of accounting fundamentals including statutory accounts

• Strong Excel skills

• Experience using Xero and CCH would be advantageous

• A keen interest in the entertainment and media sector!
